Florence + The Machine – Never Let Me Go (Blood Orange Remix)

Here’s a spectacular remix of Florence and the Machine’s Never Let Me Go. I wasn’t expecting something so reconstructed when I first saw this posted, but Brooklyn based Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) basically takes the track and flips it inside-out, revealing a stripped down synth beat and melody. His added vocals really ring through and compliment Flo’s voice. Have a listen.

mewithoutYou – 10 Stories out May 15th

Because we aren’t PR Tools for labels, we don’t post a ton of EPKs around here. But we (ok me at least) will make an exception for mewithoutYou. In fact, they are self-releasing their 5th album 10 Stories, and one member even encourages us NOT TO BUY THE ALBUM. See for yourself.

Tiny Victories emit a concussion of synth magic.

Vocalist Greg Walters and Cason Kelly of Tiny Victories emit a concussion of synth magic in their five-track EP. Those Of Us Still Alive, which debuted on Feb. 28, brings massive beats, intense vocals, and a certain vibe that’s best defined as ‘the intro to Miami Vice‘. In fact, I can almost hear a sample [...]
